Who is responsible
Chris John Simmons operates the Evanswiki Reading Room in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. For privacy questions, access requests or deletion requests, contact info@evanswiki.com. This notice describes the paid Reading Room and its connection to Evanswiki accounts and Stripe.
Account and purchase records
The Reading Room uses your existing Evanswiki account identity to connect purchases to your library. Its access records include your wiki account ID, Stripe customer ID, checkout and payment references, selected books, subscription status and paid period end dates. The wiki separately manages account information, including usernames, any email you provide and protected password records.
Payments with Stripe
Stripe receives the payment and billing information you enter at checkout, along with information needed to process and secure the transaction. The Reading Room receives payment status and purchase references to grant access, manage memberships, handle refunds and keep financial records. Card numbers are entered on Stripe’s checkout and are not stored by the Reading Room application. Stripe’s own privacy policy explains its handling of payment information.
Cookies, preferences and reading progress
Wiki sign in relies on essential account and session cookies. Reading preferences and saved reading position are stored in your browser on your device. The Reading Room does not send that saved position to Stripe. Clearing browser storage may remove those preferences and saved positions. The paid reader does not include advertising tracking scripts.
Hosting, security and support
The hosting service processes website requests and may keep technical logs such as IP addresses, requested pages and timestamps for operation and security. Support correspondence contains the information you choose to send. Purchase records are used for access, billing, refunds, accounting and protection against misuse.
Retention and your choices
Account and purchase records are retained as needed to provide reading access, resolve payments and meet applicable financial or legal record requirements. Contact support to ask about access, correction or deletion of your personal information. Some records may need to be retained for legal or financial purposes, and deleting an account may prevent use of paid online reading access.

This notice may be updated when the service or its data practices change. The effective date appears below. Stripe operates under its own privacy policy. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.
